Amazing Mama
I noticed what I thought was a HUGE spider hiding in the rebate for the shed door, but realised it was a mama wolf spider carrying hundreds of babies. I ran back to the house to the get the camera to get some pics. When you zoom in close you can see all the babies and even see the pupils in her 2 large eyes at the front. I am amazed that a spider has such a strong mother’s bond. Some of the babies were running around, but ran back to mum when I appeared. I am glad she is in the shed, because I think I would have to kill her and the babies if she came in the house. In my younger days I would have killed her while screaming hysterically – or more realistically got someone else to kill her.
