The Country Diary of a GenX Woman

Perfect Winter Weather

20130609 002After 15mm of rain over the weekend, the last 2 days have been clear, crisp and dry. The Easterlies have kept the temperatures down – it was still only 11 degrees at 10am –  but the sun has been shining.  I can almost hear the oats germinating.  We have another dry day forecast for tomorrow, then a bit of rain on Thursday.   Last year the oats took just 8 days to germinate and I am hoping for the same or less this year.
