These still cold mornings have encouraged the spiders to spin their webs to collect some easy pickings. The wild paddock on the northwest of the block was frosted with hundreds of webs. We are going to rehab this part of the property to connect the roadside vegetation on the west of the block to the jarrah forest in the middle. This will then form a wildlife corridor all the way through to the creekline on the east. At present, the grass trees, shrubs and native grasses are returning and in a couple of years, we will plant some trees.
