The Country Diary of a GenX Woman

Relaxing

20130625 018Since 2009 I have been following the Cold Antler Farm blog of Jenna Woginrich, a young writer who is also a sheep farmer with horses, chickens, goats and rabbits in Washington County, New York.  Through her blog I found writer Jon Katz’s blog about his life on his Bedlam Farm, also in Washington County, where he has dogs, donkeys, sheep and chickens.  Jon is married to Maria Wulf, also an artist, and he has just created a Facebook Group for creative, like minded souls where they can share art, photos, thoughts and dreams.   One of his posts was about his black labrador Lenore, a.k.a. the Love Dog, and her propensity for relaxation.  He posted a photo of her upside down on the couch with her legs in the air.20130520 009  I followed up with a photo of Shorty in the same pose outside,  and then couldn’t resist posting this photo I caught of 22 yo Auspicious as he rolled.
