Another Point of View

20130804 023I have been taking most of my sunrise photos from the top of the property as I work between feeding the birds, dog, horses and goats and mucking out the stables. This morning I noticed a reddening sky, so decided to walk down to the dam and spotted a great view framed between a couple of dead trees.  To add to the image, there was a lone duck silhouetted on a branch. It looked like he was watching the sunrise too and I had to take about 50 shots to get a couple with his head in profile so he didn’t look like a headless duck on a dead tree.  I kept humming the 2002 song “Another Point of View” by DB Boulevard.

I see life and light
All the colours of the world so beautiful
Won’t you come with me?
I see birds and trees
All the flowers of the world so beautiful
Won’t you come with me?

Can’t you see life’s easy
If you consider things
From another point of view
In another way
From another point of view
