Lovely Lupins

The hairs on the lupin leaves hold rain drops really well and they often roll into the centre to form a big “diamond”. I had fun capturing these images before pulling the lupins out. The blue lupins are one of the weeds we try and control before they seed. They are good nitrogen fixers, but would take over. One of the pics reminded me of an engagement ring with a sapphire set with 2 diamonds and I liked the furry bee on the furry flower, beside the furry leaf.
