The Milking Shed

20131013_144004We moved the small shed into the goat paddock to house the milking stand in preparation for milking. It is important to have a relatively clean, hair-free, area for milking to reduce the chance of tainting the milk. We poured a concrete base so it will be easy to sweep out. We will be able to keep the hard feed and other equipment in there too. Brad cut the door in half so we can keep the others out while milking Midge.
