The Country Diary of a GenX Woman

Dusty at the Dam

20131113 011As it was a hot day, I took Dusty down to the dam to see if she wanted to swim as a bit of hydro therapy for her legs. Before her surgery she was a real water baby, especially swimming out to chase balls. She swam a little bit across the corner, but didn’t seem enthusiastic – I suppose the movement would feel strange after so long. As usual Shorty paddled up to her chest, but no deeper. Dusty definitely blends in with the tones of the coffee rock, grasses and sedges.
