The Country Diary of a GenX Woman

Two Days Old

20140314_122459Like last year, I am trying to handle the new guineas every couple of days so they are less frightened when I am changing their food, water and bedding.  They are tiny, light and fragile with little stumpy wings.  They will fall asleep if you hold them gently and quietly.  Their eyelids are fluffy with a white stripe and close from the bottom up which kooks quite different.
