125 Bales
The hay was given a last turn at 11 in the morning with the baler due at 1pm. Our neighbour Mark arrived with the wonderful mechanical piece of machinery just after 3 and the first bale hit the ground just after 3.30. Unfortunately a bit of rain came in at 4 midway through – which was the worst time as the hay was baled with some moisture on it. More rain was forecast for 7pm in the evening so we loaded Mark’s trailer with the bales and got them under cover. They left at 5 and I stuffed the rest in the back of the ute to get them all in. For the last load, I had 3 balanced on the bonnet, but I got them in. Knackered.
