Fullish Moon
I spotted the moon rising through the trees near the house and thought it was a full one. When I checked the diary, yesterday was the full moon, but with the rain this month we have not had many clear skies, so I made the most of it. There are a number of “rules” for photographing the moon, the most popular settings are a minimum of 200mm zoom lens set at ISO 100, f/11, and 1/100 sec, but because I don’t use a tripod, I find a faster shutter speed works better for me. This pic was taken with a 135 zoom at film speed iso 200, shutter speed 1/400th and an aperture of f5.6.
