A Simpsons Sky
We have just had a week of above average temperatures climbing to 32 Deg C today – more than 10 degrees above average – and forecast to hit 34 tomorrow. As a result we have put the reticulation on two weeks earlier than last year when we didn’t start irrigating the summer paddock/arena till 13 November. I hadn’t realised that everyone called this type of sky a “Simpsons Sky“, I just thought that was something we did. The urban dictionary defines it as “A blue sky containing white fluffy clouds that looks like the sky scene on the opening credits of the Simpsons cartoon.” So the influences of our Pop Culture are universal.
