First Encounter

I let the young Guineas out for an hour again this morning.  As happened last time, Murray did not want to go back into the cage, and this time he had a harem of 4 girls with him.  The other birds in the cage were calling for them to come back and the Original Six birds came over to see what the noise was all about.  Murray challenged a big male and chased the other birds off.  Murray kept attacking the bigger bird and it was quite a fight, but of course age and experience overcame the bravado of youth and after a few squawks, Murray retreated with his head low.  I managed to get another 2 back in, but conceded defeat with Murray plus 2.  As before, they were outside the cage when I went to feed in the evening. (I took my good camera to record their outing this morning, but left the memory card in the computer doh!)
