We have learned why we shouldn&#8217;t.  She is not a ravenous eater, nor a fan of fresh bloody meat so would much rather bury it in the hot compost heap and eat it a couple of days later when it is a bit riper and marinaded in horse poo.  When I went to check why the guineas were making a noise this morning, she slipped out with her hide chew and buried that.
