I hadn&#8217;t paid much attention to the vine since we planted it a year ago, though I had noticed the vines were spreading and the leaves were looking healthy.  I had to use the garden fork to dig out the main tuber which was over 25 cm long and looked like a horses heart!   There was a whole bunch sitting beside it, so I dug out all I could find.  Sweet potato mash with blue cheese for tea I think.
