There is a <a href=\"https:\/\/cathmiller.com\/blog\/2011\/08\/27\/triffid-like-snail-orchids\/\">large colony<\/a> in the unburnt forest to the west of the property, but they are not near flowering yet. \u00a0 Last year and the year before, they flowered in late August. \u00a0These look like the tall snail orchid or <a href=\"http:\/\/orchids.chookman.id.au\/pterostylis\/nana.html\" target=\"_blank\">Pterostylis Pyramidalis<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I found a new colony of snail orchids in the burnt forest and they were already in flower.
