The Country Diary of a GenX Woman

Lupins

DSC00505The Lupins on the west of the property on the old gravel pit and to the north on the boundary with Adams road are so big, they come up to my waist.  Shorty is well and truly lost.   We slashed them down before they set seed.  It was a long and wet process with someone walking in front of the tractor moving the rocks to the side before the slasher went through.  We came back and picked up the rocks after the slashing was finished.  At least it will be easier next year.
