MeshStrainer

We rolled out the 8/90/30 mesh and it is 5m short! or more realistically, the boundary is 5m too long. We will attach some straight wire for the last span to the corner assembly and attach ratchet strainers to make sure it is tight.

Brad made up a fence strainer from 2 bits of angle iron and made a sling of steel rope which he looped round the tractor bucket. I was surprised how taught we got it at the first pull, and even more surprised how much it shrank when it cooled overnight. This was just the test run as we didn’t have the fencing staples or the strainers, we just wanted to clear everything that it was catching on. It caught on a tree root so brad cut it out with the axe.
