Went to mow a guinea fowl

IMG_1689My neighbour was very upset when he eviscerated a guinea fowl while mowing our hay. Defying their reputations as bad mothers, she stayed on the nest and paid the ultimate price. We were able to retrieve some eggs that hadn’t been broken and although they were covered in blood, yolk and mud, we decided to try and incubate and hatch them.
