The Country Diary of a GenX Woman

Birds of a Feather

20130207 132There must have been about 1000 birds flocking this morning.  The sun was glinting off their pale bodies and all I could see was flashing movement across the whole valley.  I just stood in the middle and let them fly over and round me.  Their flight is completely silent and they are so aerodynamic with their delta shaped wings.  They call occasionally, but mostly it is a quiet affair.
