Shade Trees

ShadetreesAt 4-5m high, the trees are now tall enough to cast some shade for most of the day at this time of year. It is a lovely cool walk in the morning and the shade is very welcome in the middle of the day. In a couple of years when we have thinned and pruned to well above ground level, we will fence off the plantation and use it for grazing – depending on how well the grass grows in the shade.
