The Country Diary of a GenX Woman

Murphy’s Law

roographicAfter taking my camera on the last three mornings and spending the whole time scanning the forest for movement, I rushed out this morning without it. As I started walking the dog, I considered going back for it, but thought nah, I haven’t seen the Elusive Roos for the last couple of days.  Of course, as I walked through a bit of bush on the west, I spotted mum and baby about 20m in front of me.  They were out in the open in the front paddock and were so I close, I could have counted mum’s eyelashes, well I could have done if I had taken a photo with my 135mm zoom lens.
