Zucchini Still Producing

20130419 058Our Zucchini are still flowering and producing fruit, not as big as they were in summer, but still a good use-able size.  I picked five today.  We also have tomatoes, chillies, eggplant, cucumber, rocket, spring onions, spinach and finally some celery.    I had planted all the brassicas – broccoli, cauliflower and brussel sprouts, but the chickens/guineas have eaten all the seedlings, so I won’t bother replanting until we fence off the vege patch.  I bought some asparagus crowns at the Balingup small farm field on Saturday so will be planting them with some artichokes and other perennials in front of the house and the garlic and potatoes will go in the vege garden.
