The Country Diary of a GenX Woman

Horseproof Fence

20130831 035The pony train heads home after a couple of hours of free range grazing, all in the proper order 28 y.o Bowie, 22 y.o. Spish and 18 y.o. Flash bringing up the rear.   We pulled some logs out of the forest as an alternative to the white-picket fence to keep the ponies out of the garden.  Flash has stepped over a low part of the fence a couple of times.  He got a few bites out of some plants, but I got him out pretty quickly and I think he has decided the plants are not worth the bother.
