Growing Goji

20140324_174147After paying for a small pack of goji berries worth $42 a kilo, we decided to see if we could grow them.  Western Australia has strict quarantine rules that mean you have a limited range of plants to choose from, goji seedlings were not one of them. With new rules charging $56 per package of seeds for quarantine inspections we turned to YouTube to see if you could grow them from the seeds from the dried goji berries. Brad opened up a handful of berries and soaked the seeds out. It appears that the ones that sink are more viable than the ones that float.
