Break and Enter
The horses get into the irrigated summer paddock every afternoon around 4 for an hour or so before tea. We didn’t get back from cutting up their chaff till close to 5, so I was surprised to see them in the paddock as I hadn’t opened the gate before we left at lunchtime. Sure enough, they (or I should say Bowie) had broken the double strand of baling twine. I plaited the replacement, so it is now 3 strands thick.
