Here Comes the Capeweed

capeweedAfter only 8.5mm of rain a week ago, the Capeweed has started sprouting.   This is our most prevalent weed, but because the horses eat the flowers in winter and the dried weed in summer, we hadn’t thought much about it.   We have found out now, that it can taint goat’s milk, so we may have do something about it in their paddock.
