Cooking with Compost
People always tell us that we should feed the dog outside. We have learned why we shouldn’t. She is not a ravenous eater, nor a fan of fresh bloody meat so would much rather bury it in the hot compost heap and eat it a couple of days later when it is a bit riper and marinaded in horse poo. When I went to check why the guineas were making a noise this morning, she slipped out with her hide chew and buried that. I will have to make sure she doesn’t try to bring it back in the house when it is cooked.
