The Country Diary of a GenX Woman

200m Sprint

20130722a 037I was coming back from feeding the Guinea Fowl just after 5.30pm when I saw a massive pale moon rising over the paddock.   There were some wispy clouds and thought it would make a great picture.  Of course I didn’t have my camera, so I decided to run the 200m back to the house. It had been cold throughout the day with a biting northerly wind so I was in my heavy padded winter jacket, hat and scarf.  This would have been ok if the wind was still blowing, but it dropped as soon as I started running.  I ran about 150m before deciding that the moon would be good enough whenever I could catch it.
