Winter Water Baby
Middle horse Auspicious is a real water baby and is often sloshing and splashing water wherever he can find it. Part of the eastern edge of our property beside the creek is under water for the first time in 4 years, and just after 9am, I saw him pawing and splashing in some water. I grabbed my camera, but didn’t get the lens cap off before he went down. I wish I had, as the bow wave that surged up when he hit the ground would have made a fantastic picture. I had to make do with the sun shining off his sleek, wet, sides after his morning bath.
