Ginger Moulting not Dying

20131225 037Ginger is moulting not dying and is laying again.  Two weeks ago, I was worried that Ginger had laid her last egg, as she went broody and tried to sit on a couple of eggs then stopped laying.  It looks like she has just undergone the quickest “moult” in history and laid an egg today.  Her underside is all bald, but the egg was flawless. Mama was off the lay for 10 weeks – but she was bringing up the chicks.  The eggs are from Left to Right: Ginger, Mama, Guinea Fowl
