The Country Diary of a GenX Woman

Guinea Tea Time

20130810_173039The oats are taller than the guinea fowl now, so when they are going home for tea, you can just see their little white heads zooming across the sea of green.  It makes me smile every time I see it.   The guineas make a lovely gentle whistling and clucking sound when they are heading in for tea and while they are eating.  It is quite different to the loud and raucous sounds that  people normally associate with guineas.
